How does video telematics work?

Cobli's camera records whenever the vehicle is running. If it detects an event (for example, a harsh brake) during a trip, that video segment is automatically sent to the Cobli dashboard. You can also request footage from a specific date and time via the same dashboard, as long as the camera and vehicle are powered on.

How does the camera detect the vehicle's speed?

The camera works as a tracker, sending telemetry data (idling time, location, speed, mileage) to the dashboard, just like other Cobli devices.

What can the in-vehicle cameras see?

There are two cameras: one records the road, the other records the cabin.

Does the camera record audio?

No, Cobli Cam records video only.

How long can the in-vehicle camera record?

The camera stores up to 100 hours of footage, equivalent to a 126 GB microSD card. The storage capacity cannot be expanded.

Does the camera detect incidents automatically?

Risk and dangerous driving events are generated automatically (no manual request needed): harsh acceleration and braking, sharp or fast turns, distracted driving, and tailgating.

When can I request on-demand video?

On-demand videos can be requested for completed trips already visible on the dashboard. A trip is considered complete once the vehicle is stopped and turned off.
